After prototyping today in class we had lots of feed back to go onwards from. We established that we needed to go back to the drawing board and be concise as one group as with three of us things are becoming disjointed.
With so many ideas and things going on within our overall problem it is getting quite hard to focus on one idea.
Nan's had some great advice in working in a group and gave us steps to follow to speed up our process and make sure we used our time wisely.
Plan to find our big idea:
Step 1: Go crazy on ideating. Think about our problem, do word association, think of as many random create things as possible.
Step 2: Pick the top three and dive deeper into each singular idea.
Step 3: Pick the one that is most relevant/successful in coalition with problem statement.
We threw this advice into action right after class with a times white board session. We made a huge idea vomit onto the white board and went in many different directions.
Emerging adults need experience and advice on the real world they are entering.
As they are feeling a sense of loss and misguidance , alone in the big wide world.

Step 1:
Travel
Voulntering
Mentoring
Free experiences that provide a window into different areas of life and industries that would reassure and educate emerging adults in their futures.
Hop tips from people who have been there.
Learning a new skill.
Toolkit for navigating life.
Step 2:
Travel:
Many E.as have acknowledged that they believe people find thier true identity and passion through travel.
Culture shock enables people to understand the big bad world more and use skills they didn’t know they have to over come this.
Teaches you about where you fit in the world.
Greatest barrier is how will I finance my travel.
We could create a platform with all the top tips on cheapest tricks on how do travel, emerging adult deals, saving help, advice from others whom have traveled with thier own personal top tips.
Hostelling info, safest hostels would only be incuded.
Meet others whom want to travel and make a plan together.
( Tinder for Travel )
Mentors:
Facilitating and maintaing the connection between emerging adults and mentors that provide unbiased opinions, guidance and knowledge.
Friendly, Inclusive, Casual, Comfortable, Accesable.
Big brother and big sister programme but for e.as
Why would people want to mentor:
Giving back to community.
Providing help and support to a e.a who is in a hard time, that you may have been in too.
People love to give advice and help for example youth line etc.
Work Experience:
Providing emerging adults with real life work experience.
“I can’t get into the industry I want because I have no experience”
So much emerging adults could learn that would reassure them that they can get to where they want.
Would we pick a specific nieche?
SUMMER OF TECH is a example.
Step 3:
PICKING OUR BIG IDEA!
Went about this through process of elimination.
