Think Place Workshop Exercise In class

We participated in a workshop exercise in class which gave us more of a rapid, quick-paced ideation around solving an issue around wellbeing.  This was a helpful tool to think of idea's quickly, and respond to a situation through empathy and 'design thinking.'

Below is a Food Journey map tool used by Think Place, for a client, which addressed the issue of Poverty.

The map explores a made up character (personalisation of the demographic and target audience affected) Charlotte who is struggling to make ends meet. Here we see her feelings, thoughts, actions and struggles from a first hand perspective.

We were teamed up into groups and asked to address one of the issues Charlotte was facing anywhere on the journey map.
We chose the issue that the childs education was compromised..

We deavised/came up with a plan to get the school involved and start up a 'breakfast club' idea where we could minimise the shame/embarrassment and encourage the kids to socialise with peers and feel accepted, while teaching them that education is important!
